Allergy shots no more!

Colin had his final allergy test today after 5 years of shots for a severe wasp sting allergy. And the verdict was........

He's done!

Colin passed the test with flying colors, his control spot reacted and none of the venom spots did. He is a very happy boy today.

Magnet Boy



Have magnets will travel. Tristan brings his tub of magnetix/geomags/etc. magnets everywhere. He had them with him at Monday HS group today, as usual. He just looooooooves magnets!

I can walk in this snowsuit, it's just not very easy to bend down.

This is not working for me!



A couple of my children are taking a class about Presidential elections. I love reading, I love science, I can teach, facilitate, and explore many things well with my children but I'm not at all political. Helping Hayley with her presidential homework (apparently meant for grades 4-6) just might be the end of me!

I'm going to have nightmares about amendments, representatives and presidents.

I do wonder if the snow plows TRY to hit people's mailboxes!

Guess it was our turn today as this is what greeted me when the mailman beeped instead of just dropping the mail in the box. He said, guess it was your turn for a downed mailbox this storm!

We are finally better from the flu, it was a bad one. This is todays picture, it snowed yet again in the night and the snow plow got us this time. This has been one snowy winter!

I had a couple more pictures I'd taken with p-365 in mind while we were recovering so I've posted those as well today.

Last one to succumb.......

We have been hit with a holiday season flu. Tristan was the only one who hadn't come down with it and I was hoping he would be exempt. Not to be, this afternoon he curled up on the couch and buried himself in blankets. Poor little guy.
